Responses to our publishing activities
- Commemorative plaques of the Czech Geographical Society for extraordinary contribution to Czech geography were presented at the HV ČGS meeting, which took place in Prague's Karolinum on June 22, 2021. One of the plaques was also handed over to Prof. RNDr. Rudolf Brázdil, DrSc.

- Prof. Rudolf Brázdil, founder and pioneer of historical climatology in the Czech Republic and our team leader, celebrated a significant life anniversary this year.
A medallion for his birthday (PDF) was published in the latest issue of Meteorologické zprávy.

- Silver Medal of Masaryk University for prof. Rudolf Brázdil
On 6 March, Rector Mikuláš Bek presented Gold and Silver Medals to people who have been developing Masaryk University in recent decades. Among the awarded were also Professor at the Department of Geography Rudolf Brázdil, who made a significant contribution to the development of historical climatology.
